Hi! My name is Alon Schwarz, and at the risk of making this sound like a support group, I really love webcomics. I’ve been reading them for more than a decade, and I think they’re a wonderful, unique medium for all kinds of storytelling. And unlike classic comics, they’re (usually) free and readily available on anything with internet access – which makes them infinitely more accessible than their paper counterparts.

I’m a firm believer in sharing fun things, and I think everyone who reads should read webcomics (and everyone should read, but that’s a different discussion). Hence, this blog, where everyone – including you! – can hopefully find at least one or two to suit their preferences. And even if you’re a veteran with dozens of webcomics already read, you might find something new and exciting.

So enjoy! There are categories for different formats of webcomics, and tags for different genres / types. You can also check out my general tips for reading webcomics. If you don’t find anything to your liking, feel free to contact me! I might be able to find something for you. And, of course, if your favorite webcomic isn’t featured here, tell me about it. There are a lot of posts on my To-Write list, but if it’s not in that list, I’m always happy to read a new comic.

Happy reading!

When I had the idea for this blog, it was only the enthusiasm, support and advice I got from Eden Kupermintz, Mirit Ben Hur and Ofer Schwarz which made me actually go and start writing. Their help from that point onward has been invaluable. My infinite thanks to you guys.

I can be reached at webcomicrelief@gmail.com, and always welcome the feedback. I also have a Twitter account (though it’s mostly in Hebrew).

Or Dagmi also gets a lovely bundle of gratitude for providing hosting and technical support. Thanks!
